CLINTON A. COUCH is a native Floridian. He was born in Gainesville but grew up in Tallahassee. He graduated from Godby High School. Shortly after finishing high school, Clint enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and rose to the rank of Captain. He was a Naval Aviator and flew the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter in the Third Marine Air Wing at MCAS Tustin, CA. He received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from National University in 1988 and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1991. He was admitted to the Florida Bar later that same year. Mr. Couch is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member and current President of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association of the Escambia County Society of Criminal Defense. He is also a member of both the Florida and National Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Couch limits his practice to representing those accused of crimes. He has conducted over 200 jury trials to verdict in both state and federal courts. He has successfully represented clients charged with offenses ranging from minor misdemeanors to capital felonies.
